What time will I be able to attend the Main Shows?
The main theatre holds about half of the population of our cruise. Therefore, we provide two main performances each night so that all our guests have the chance to catch the Main Show. During the reservation process, you will select to attend either the 1st Show (Blue Key Card) or 2nd Show (Red Key Card). Our 1st Show begins around 5:15pm and the 2nd Show begins around 8:45pm.
What time will I have dinner?
Your Dining Time will be the opposite of your Show Time. If you are reserved for the 1st Show, you will dine after the main show. If you are reserved for the 2nd show, you will dine before the main show.
What are the seating procedures for the Main Shows?
All shows and events, other than Main Shows, are subject to open seating. This means that seats are not reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A guest may hold one seat for their stateroom companion, however, once a show begins, no one may hold a seat of any kind.
For our Main Shows in the evening, the theater will not open until 20 minutes prior to show time. Guests are permitted to queue up prior to the doors opening.
What is Reserved Seating?
There is limited reserved seating for the Main Shows each night. These seats are clearly marked, and guests are asked to refrain from sitting in such marked seats. However, once the show begins, any guest may select any open reserved seat for themselves.
Securing a Reserved Seat is a benefit bestowed to Guests who have sailed on a Jazz Cruise program “10 or More” times or have qualified by completing their rebooking procedures prior to March 5, 2024.
Which dining options are included in my cruise fare and which are not?
Aboard the Celebrity Summit, you have a variety of restaurants to choose from that are included at no additional cost as part of your cruise reservation.
In addition, complimentary pastries are available at Café' Al Bacio, as well as complimentary food options available at the Pool Grill.
Room Service is always available with a $9.95 fee per order.
You may also wish to dine at one of the Specialty Restaurants aboard the ship. There is typically a surcharge for these restaurants.
Are reservations for dinner required?
It depends on the restaurant you choose. Reservations are not required for complimentary dining (i.e., Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Ocean View Café). Both restaurants offer open seating that provides an ample dining space for our guests. Guests that choose to dine at one of the Specialty Restaurants are encouraged to make reservations through Celebrity's "Cruise Planner" platform once you have your Celebrity Cruises' Reservation Number.
What time should I plan to have dinner?
It is recommended to pay particular attention to your reserved Main Show Time (1st Show or 2nd Show) and make your dining plans around your show time. Dinner in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant generally takes 90 minutes. Guests who choose to dine in open seating should arrive to the Dining Room with the party they would like to dine with and will be seated accordingly.
If you are traveling with a group and would like to be seated together, we can arrange a Dining Group for you and your friends. To arrange a Dining Group, please contact us with names of the guests in your party. We can accept requests for Dining Groups until one month prior to the sail date.
How do I make a reservation at a Specialty Restaurant?
Celebrity has several Specialty Restaurants on the ship. There is a surcharge for dining at these restaurants. In general, it is a good idea to make a reservation for these restaurants. You can make a reservation ahead of the cruise by utilizing Celebrity's "Cruise Planner" platform or by calling Celebrity. You may also make a reservation once you are on board the ship.
